It’s been a very busy month since my last blog. Lots has been happening, and here are just a few highlights…
Community Connections
I’ve been busy networking in the community, meeting some wonderful people who do dedicated work, and exploring workshop ideas with some great community organisations. The good news is that events are to be advertised soon. I’m really excited about this and about working collaboratively.
Reset & Relax Updates
‘Reset & Relax’ sessions have found community venues. Dates are to be confirmed, but keep watching out for posters and digital ads to follow. Once again, it’s exciting to be working alongside local organisations.
In-person 1-to-1s have also found their place in the community. Please contact me to arrange your free initial enquiry call.
Online 1-to-1 bookings are all set up and ready to go on the online platform, and online group ‘Reset & Relax’ sessions are available upon request.
If you think this could work for you, please message me with your expression of interest. Remember, it’s good to find time for you. You deserve it. So why not contact me to find out more about time to talk, followed by a guided relaxation from your own home?
Walk & Talk Group
‘Walk & Talk’ sessions were waiting on more consistent good weather (where did the sun go?), but please contact me if you’d still like to get involved. I’m keen to learn what times suit people best for a stroll so we can set some dates. I’m looking forward to hearing from you and exploring the local area together.
So, it’s really been a month of connection in many ways. And it was a simple incident last week that really brought that idea of connection home to me.
On Thursday I had the fun job of trying to sort out my broken glasses. I’d snapped off the arm by accident the night before. The pieces were all there, but the connection wasn’t, and without that they just did not work as they should. They didn’t balance. They weren’t comfortable. I was unable to wear them confidently. I couldn’t focus properly. They distracted my thoughts.
It dawned on me after the lenses had been reframed how connection is so important to ensure true clarity.
Life is very much like that. Coaching helps you join the dots, make the right thought connections and work things out.
One of the biggest factors is the connections made with people.
Good interaction with friends, family, work colleagues and community is helpful for our overall wellbeing. Social connection is just as important as mental wellbeing and physical health. It helps us to become aware. It helps us to understand and appreciate others’ points of view.
Ultimately, it helps us to grow.
Last week I visited my home town and caught up with all of the above. The encouragement, support and good wishes were fantastic. It really was great to connect.
So as June continues, perhaps take a moment to think about the connections in your own life. Which ones help bring clarity, encouragement and growth?
I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Take care.
